Lucky’s partner growers are long time relationships, who recognize both the quality behind the Lucky name, and the importance of the food safety processes that we adhere to.

 

Lucky’s facilities are HACCP Accredited and receive annual food safety audits by Primus Labs and SCS Global Services, where we receive consistently high scores. In addition, Lucky’s Real Tomatoes uses the most advanced ozone treatment system to purify and sanitize our products and our facilities.

Once our tomatoes are picked, they are transported on our OWN fleet of trucks to our OWN distribution facilities where we process your orders and deliver on our OWN vehicles.  This closed loop system insures that the tomatoes you receive from Lucky’s have been in our possession and are kept at 55 degrees which protects the integrity of the tomato, and adheres to the food safety “cool chain.”

In recognition of leadership initiatives and processes implemented to optimize freshness, quality and safety of our products, we have been honored with the “Quality by Purfresh” seal.
